Baronial Border War XXXIV

Camping Policies

Water & Power
Water from spigots on site is potable. Please do not allow spigots to run unnecessarily and do not wash dishes/dump food remains at spigots.

We have not contracted with the fairgrounds for use of power. If you require a CPAP or other medical device, please bring your own battery support.
DO NOT plug any device into fairgrounds power.

Site Rules
Site opens at noon on Friday, June 15. Arrivals before that time must wait in the parking area until Gate is open.

Each Camp is responsible for removing their own trash to the dumpster provided. Bags will be provided and camp trash cans checked daily for the need for more bags.

All campers must be off site by noon on Sunday, June 17. Anyone on site after noon Sunday may be charged additional fees by the Fairground Manager. We appreciate your cooperation.

Also as in years past, NO DIGGING FIRE PITS - Ground Fires are not allowed anywhere on the fairgrounds, please use the fire ring provided. Elevated fire pits are allowed. To limit the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer, DO NOT TRANSPORT FIREWOOD into Ionia County. You may purchase firewood at any local convenience store or Meijer within the county.

Handicap access is SEVERELY limited. This is a primitive site! We will be providing handicap port-a-potties but if you have any other special requirements, please contact the Event Steward as soon as possible!

Quiet hours begin at 2 AM. If you are using a gas-powered generator, please do not run it after this time. Dogs that bark excessively after quiet hours will be asked to leave site. Parties and party-goers will be asked to quiet down at that time as well.

Animal Policy
For the consideration of others please quiet your dogs after midnight.

Dogs will be required to be registered with Gate. You will be asked to fill out an information sheet on each dog and your dog will be required to wear a tag on their collar.

Dog owners must assure their animals are in good health and will be required to provide proof of rabies vaccine. A dog license is sufficient, but not the dog tag (bring the actual paper license).

Animals must have a handler with them at all times, unless in a secured crate or pen. Please do not leave your pet in your car. All animal waste must be cleaned up promptly and disposed of in a waste receptacle. Aggressive dog behavior will not be tolerated. If your dog acts aggressively, you will be asked to remove it from the site entirely!

Alcohol and Marijuana
Consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted at this site in concurrence with state and local laws. If you wish to drink at this event, you will be required to prove your age at Troll. Unattended alcohol will be confiscated. Minors consuming alcohol will result in a call to mundane authorities.

Consumption of Medical Marijuana is absolutely prohibited in the County Park per Michigan State Law 333.26427 Sec 7.3B. If you are caught consuming marijuana within the Fairgrounds, including in your car or tent, you will be asked to leave the event immediately.
